We are a first generation hydroponic farm that has been in operation since 2016. We moved our hydroponic business to Montgomery, Texas in 2020. We are in the process of expanding our business and moving to Plantersville, Texas.
Initially we were in-ground gardeners for our own personal consumption. We became frustrated when we were unable to maintain our garden due to our career schedules, weather conditions, and pest problems. We realized that we needed to shift from traditional in-ground growing to a more sustainable method of growing. Our family had previous knowledge and some experience growing hydroponically, that in combination with a degree in Agriculture from Texas A&M University, we were able to build our Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system that allowed us to grow indoors and completely soil free. After careful research and trial and error, we were able to successfully grow our own lettuce, herbs, and vegetables.
We grow several different vegetables in a deep water culture system as well. In 2020, we added microgreens to our growing operation. We have enjoyed this fun addition to our “garden”.
We continue to add as we grow. We enjoy learning new ways to improve our growing techniques and adding new produce to our offering. We enjoy what it brings to our community. It is wonderful to be able to offer pesticide, herbicide, and GMO-free produce year long. This is our commitment to our customers.
